Judge refuses to dismiss Maple & Ash lawsuit as trial date draws closer

A Cook County judge has ruled in favor of investors in the Gold Coast steakhouse Maple & Ash, rejecting most efforts by the restaurant group’s management to get numerous counts dismissed prior to trial.

The ruling means there is a light at the end of the tunnel in the lengthy court battle between investors in two Maple & Ash restaurants and the former and current managers of those restaurants and their affiliates and owners.
